Yoga has been a part of my life for the past 20 years. I have tried and enjoy many forms of yoga asana: Ashtanga, Bikram, Vinyasa Flow, Hot Flow, Hatha, Gentle Hatha and Yin. However, Ashtanga Yoga has been the fire that ignites my soul.
I have a dedicated 6 day a week Ashtanga Yoga practice. In 2016 I completed a 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. Learning the Primary Series can be a daunting task, so after months of struggling to remember the sequence, I created “Ashtanga Primary Series, An Electronic Cheat Sheet”, an App for beginner Ashtanga Yoga students to help commit the Primary Series sequence to memory. It can be found on iTunes and Google Play.
In 2015 I travelled to Mysore, India for one month practice with R. Sharath Jois, the current Ashtanga Yoga linage holder. I have also traveled to New York, Miami and Brooklyn to practiced with R. Sharath Jois. I have also taken part in various yoga workshops.
I teach Primary Series, Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga. I also have experience teaching Pranayama and Meditation.
I'm just a novice Yoga enthusiast and this Ashtanga Yoga cheat sheet is an excellent tool and resource. I like the fact that I can learn and progress with easy and simple instruction on my own. I highly recommend it!
